#2 EXCELLENT

We ROCK the books!  Plain and simple!

CHS has been rated EXCELLENT by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) since they started ranking individual schools in 2002.  This rating, the highest a high school can receive, indicates quality performance on state standardized tests by our students and excellent instruction by our staff.  Nothing wrong with patting ourselves on the back a little!  Often times we recognize great achievements by athletic teams… this is like winning a State Championship for our academics! 

This year (2010), we are even more excited as the entire Celina City School District has been rated Excellent with Distinction by ODE.  This is the highest rating a district can receive.  This school year, we are the only district in Mercer County to be recognized with this honor.
